Since 1987 Alexander College(and Shoresh Study Tours) have been offering Christians an in depth understanding of the Bible and the Jewish context of the life of Jesus. Our programs are especially designed to train educators and leaders of African and Asian churches. We emphasize the Jewish roots of Christianity as a way of teaching discipleship and understanding our faith in ways that are relevant to the churches of the Global South.

Sabbatical Courses
The opportunity to spend a month in the Holy Land studying the life of Jesus, Jesus: Prophet, Sage, Messiah, or the use of scripture in early Judaism and Christianity, Word & Spirit.

Short Term Study Programs
Roots & Branches, The Teachings of Jesus, Biblical Hebrew: A six week intensive course at Christ Church, Jerusalem that enables students to read and understand the Bible more deeply.

We strengthen those who are strengthening the church as it expands rapidly in Asia, Africa, and other parts of the Global South.

Connecting to Israel
We provide an opportunity for Biblical scholars and church leaders to connect with Israel and local believers.
