There was no delay, and he is where we wanted him. The place is much more relaxed and suited to him. This week they are getting to know him, testing his abilities. Starting from next week Raphael will start the program, which will include physiotherapy, occupational and speech therapy.

Raphael is on the way to recovery. Thank for your support until now. Please continue to pray for the new challenge that awaits him.

I will not write everyday anymore, but will continue to keep you updated.

February 8: I want to thank all of you who faithfully kept our father in your prayer. I believe thanks to them Raphael survived this stroke.

Raphael is doing better. He is still very sensitive and weak, but we can see the improvement each day, though not as drastic as before. The reason is that he now needs physiotherapy. We are on the waiting list for Mt Scopus.

He still has pain in the stomach area at night, and the reason is unclear. the doctors didn't find anything, so we assume that it is a consequence from not eating 3 weeks or one of the medications he took. You can pray that God will relieve his pain so he can have a good sleep at nights, which will help him recover more quickly.

Pray also that his recovery will be to 100% of his abilities. One of the surgeons said that Raphael can get back to most of what he was. Lets pray that most will be all.

The dose of the Clexane, the medication against blood clothing, has been raised to double. The doctors say that it is still a very low dose and following the results of the angiography in his head they are not worried, but it might be a good thing to pray for that as well.
