CMJ Israel is seeking to recruit a couple to serve as Directors of Beit Bracha Guest House and Prayer Centre to provide leadership and management of all aspects of the facility.
CMJ Worldwide is a dynamic organization with a rich heritage of 200 years of service and a diversity of ministries. It continues to bridge ethnic, religious and national boundaries, sharing the reconciling love of Jesus with both the Jewish People and the nations. CMJ is the oldest Protestant evangelical ministry in the Middle East, and its presence in the land of Israel dates back to the 1830s. Christ Church at Jaffa Gate in Jerusalem was dedicated in 1849, and CMJ’s modern clinics, hospitals and schools were among the first to be established in the land. Today, CMJ Israel has a wide and varied ministry that includes Christ Church itself, three guesthouses, the Shoresh tour company, an international school, and Heritage Centres.
Beit Bracha (The House of Blessing in Hebrew), situated in the village of Migdal near Tiberias, is an integral part of CMJ’s ministry in Israel. It has 12 en-suite rooms with accommodation for up to 30 people, a large deck offering spectacular views over the Sea of Galilee, and a Bedouin-style prayer tent in the garden. Sunrise over the Golan Heights welcomes guests to an Israeli breakfast enjoyed family-style in the main house.
The guesthouse is popular with Christian and other visitors to the region, and increasingly attracts local Israeli guests. It caters for individuals and small groups or families and is ideally suited for larger group bookings, and tour groups (whether from our own Shoresh Tours, or other tour groups).
In recent years there has been an increase in bookings from Christian groups seeking a quiet place to study and to pray together.
The Directors are supported by a small local staff and volunteers from around the world.
