"Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth. Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvellous deeds among all peoples. For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the Lord made the heavens. Splendour and majesty are before him; strength and glory are in his sanctuary."

A Fabulous Location In The Heart of Jaffa

We're situated in Old Jaffa, just a short 5-minute walk from golden beaches and within walking distance of the modern city of Tel Aviv - and there's loads to do in the area, including Old Jaffa's artisan flea market.

The guest house also has its own Heritage Centre describing the history of the guest house and the local area.

Jaffa - famous down through the ages

Jaffa (also know as Yafo and Joppa) is well-known for its association with the bible stories of Jonah and Solomon in the Old Testament, and Saint Peter in the New Testament.

The New Testament account records several of Peter's acts which took place in Jaffa, including the raising of Tabitha; his stay at the house of Simon the Tanner; and the vision of the sheet of unkosher foods descending from heaven. It was from here that he journeyed up the coast to Caesarea to tell about Jesus at the request of the Romans.
