At CMJ Israel’s Heritage Centres we preserve and present the history of our involvement with the Jewish People since 1809 where they come to learn about our participation in their history.
From its beginning in 1838, Christ Church has been committed to helping the poor and sick in Jerusalem and surrounding lands. Our work continues to this very day - will you partner with us?
Following the traumatic effects of the current round of fighting in the Gaza Strip, we are blessed to host our new "Tour With Purpose" program, offering you the chance to make a meaningful impact in the Land. Join us in Israel for a week and contribute to various initiatives, including harvesting and planting crops, serving meals to the elderly, and more. We have a Tour With Purpose planned for each month through the fall of 2024, with more to come.
We need help to restore the bells at Christ Church Jerusalem.
Installed more than 100 years ago, our eight Harrington tubular bells were silenced decades ago after restructuring of the Rectory closed off the bell tower. Not long ago, by reaching through a small window we discovered that the bells were still in tune as we tapped out “Amazing Grace, How Sweet the Sound.”
Shoresh is the Hebrew word for "root" and, with our in-depth Bible teaching by believing and qualified tour guides, you'll discover more about the Hebrew roots of the Christian faith than ever before - right in the place where it all happened, the Land of Israel.
