27 March 2022 - Fourth Sunday in Lent - Luke 15 includes what’s often called “The parable of the prodigal son” as well as two other “lost and found” parables, but all three stories are, in fact, a single parable. Rev. Neville Jones takes a detailed look at the chapter and shows how Jesus has carefully constructed a story that is full of surprises for his hearers as well as being very revealing about two groups of people in the crowd – the tax collectors and sinners on one hand and the scribes and Pharisees on the other.
Readings: 2 Corinthians 5:16-21; Psalm 32; Luke 15
